Hi! I just graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy where I earned
my B.A. in Religious Studies with a minor in Leadership. While I was
there, I took part in the 7-year Accelerated Dental Program, where I took
classes to prepare for dental school. Originally intending to go to
Detroit Mercy for dental school, I applied to the University of Michigan
School of Dentistry and was admitted for the 2020 school year. I will now
start dental school on June 22nd - and it will be online for a good
while!
While I was attending Detroit Mercy, I was involved in a number of student
organizations. One of the most meaningful involvements for me was
University Ministry, especially the service-immersion trips that I went on
and led. The first was a mystery trip to Memphis, TN and the second was to
rural West Virginia. During my final year, I also was a Ministry Intern
where I helped with various tasks in the ministry office.
I was also involved with Cru (leading worship was one of my favorite
activities here!), Alpha Phi Omega (a coed service fraternity), Alpha
Sigma Nu (The Jesuit Honor Society), and some other clubs as well.
I worked as a Resident Advisor in the first-year experience dorm for two
years and was lucky to be involved in the lives of new Detroit Mercy
students(as well as get free room and board) because of this experience!
I was most recently accepted into the Southern Michigan Conference of the
Free Methodist Church as a Conference Ministerial Candidate! As part of this
next stage in approaching ordained ministry, I will be serving at Evergreen
Church in Ann Arbor as a Church Planting and Pastoral Ministry Resident!
This will be a two year residency and I'm excited to serve and learn and
grow with a loving and Jesus centered community focused on living together
for the Kingdom in Ann Arbor and in the world!
